The first ICF performance evaluation has no separate price. It is included in the credential application fee you pay ICF, which varies by credential level and membership status. You only pay again if a recording comes back Below Standard. A retake with a new session or a rescore of the same one costs $150 per recording.

What does the evaluation cost in time?
Results take 6 to 8 weeks after an assessor is assigned. A failure costs that wait, the re-recording work, and a second wait: typically about three months in total.
Does the 2027 deadline change the arithmetic?
For ACC and PCC portfolio candidates, yes. Recordings are accepted only through 31 March 2027, so a failure with no time left to retake costs the pathway as well as the fee. From 1 April 2027 the route is enhanced mentor coaching with an MCS-credentialed mentor.
